We are a Texas-based company founded in 2025. The River Roof was created to solve a problem we experienced ourselves—spending long days floating Texas rivers with little to no shade (and getting sunburned… a lot).

After searching for a solution and realizing there wasn’t a product designed specifically to bring reliable shade onto a river float, we decided to create our own.

My wife and I assemble every River Roof in our home in Spring TX, and we try to spend as much time as we can on the many rivers in Texas( We got engaged on the San Marcos!) we hope to see you out on the river.
